McColl's launches 'Plus' loyalty scheme
Newsagent and convenience store chain McColls has launched a customer loyalty card scheme called Plus.
Customers are being offered a free card which will enable them to access money-off deals when shopping online or at any McColl’s, Martins or RS McColl’s store. Other benefits include access to prizes and competitions, offers from selected partners, and personalised offers based on their purchasing patterns.
McColl’s said the scheme had been developed to help the retailer to increase its sales in the convenience market and respond more intelligently to customers’ shopping habits.
McColl’s chairman and chief executive James Lancaster said: “We have launched our Plus scheme as a way to say thank you to our loyal customers and reward them for choosing to shop with us. The card gives customers an array of fantastic savings, an opportunity to enter great competitions and to have access to special partner offers throughout the year.
“Plus is aimed at helping shoppers get even more value from McColl’s, reward them for their loyalty and help us understand our customers’ needs.”
Established in 1973, McColl's floated on the London Stock Exchange in February and last month opened its 750th convenience store.
