McArthurGlen to launch Designer Outlet Fashion Month
McArthurGlen is organising the UKs first ever Designer Outlet Fashion Month as part of a national initiative hosted by the outlet group.
Launching at McArthurGlen’s Chesire Oaks outlet in September, the Designer Outlet Fashion Month will be championed by model and cultural ambassador for the British Fashion Council, Laura Bailey; singer songwriter Delilah; and style blogger Sandra from 5inchandup. All three champions will be styled and photographed wearing their favourite outfits from McArthurGlen’s autumn/winter collections and will provide shoppers with ‘how to shop outlet’ tips, style guidelines and sartorial advice for the new season.
McArthurGlen has also teamed up with up-and-coming designer Holly Fulton who has created an exclusive tote bag for the event which shoppers can obtain by downloading a voucher from the McArthurGlen website and taking it to an outlet.
During the month long campaign, the Chesire Oaks outlet centre will hold exclusive style evenings hosted by Angela Buttolph, Grazia magazine’s editor-at-large, and Harriet Stewart, Sunday Times Style magazine's junior fashion editor.
Helen Williams, marketing executive McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks, said: "Designer Outlet Fashion Month is a brilliant opportunity for us to show label lovers that they can find on-trend and seasonal pieces at McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks for up to 60% less than the high street. With top brands like Reiss, Gant, Hobbs, Wolford and OSPREY LONDON shoppers can discover the secret of outlet shopping and find stylish fashion and accessories for AW12."
