Maximise your online & multi channel offering by attending the Internet Retailing Conference 2009
Consistently delivering high quality content, the event is considered to be the principal event for online & multi channel retailing industry leaders, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience, all of which are core to maximising a retailer’s presence online.
For the first time, the conference will be opened by three keynote speakers chosen for their inspiration to the industry and the savvy, experienced and savagely demanding customers. Peter Fitzgerald, Head of Retail Google UK will be joined by two of the UK’s most admired retailers, Robin Terrell, Managing Director at John Lewis Direct, and Jane Judd, Senior Manager of Customer Loyalty at Zappos.com speaking from 9am-10.50am.
Following the opening session, the conference will split into three conference streams entitled The Customer is King, Full Steam Ahead, and Cross Channel featuring top-tier retailers including: Rob Collins, Director e-Commerce, Waitrose presenting Cross Channel Customer Engagement; Angus Cormie, Head of E-Business, Dell Consumer EMEA presenting Building on Maturity or Driving for Constant Change; Marcus Spurrell, Head of Digital Marketing/Commerce, Reebok International who will present “Customisation & Commerce: Opportunities where the two collide”; Rob Jones, e-commerce Manager, Harvey Nichols presenting “How to Leverage Store Stock for Online and improve your mail order processes at the same time)”, and Bridging the Gap Between the Offline and Online Shopping Experience which will be presented by Fabrice Berger-Duquene, CEO, PureShopping.com.
In line with previous years, the Internet Retailing Conference will run a comprehensive free to attend workshop programme comprising nine workshops including: Top Tips For Delivering Dramatically Better Conversions For Mail Order & Retailing Ecommerce Websites with Mike Anderson of Web Marketplace Solutions; The Payments Opportunity in International e-retail: how a Localised Payments Program can Help Merchants Increase Bottom Line Results, a panel discussion moderated by Netgiro, including representatives from Barclaycard and PayPal; Effective Targeting Online- Making the Difference to your Online Campaign, Ian Dowds from Specific Media and, Content Really is King – How Internet Retailers can Connect with Social Media Communities using Smart Content by Matthew Yeomans from Social Media Influence.
Completing the line-up will be over 50 exhibitors including representatives from card fraud screening, user generated reviews, e-marketing and e-commerce software companies.
