Mamas & Papas opens first concession in Next Home store

Nursery brand Mamas & Papas has opened its first concession in a Next Home shop at Bristol’s Cribbs Causeway retail park.

The concession will stock products such as clothing for babies and toddlers, nursery furniture, pushchairs, car seats and gifts.

Spanning 2,500 square feet, it will also offer in-store services such as group educational events for parents-to-be, personal shopping appointments and a free car seat fitting service.

Next Home store manager Chris Taylor said: “For us, working with Mamas & Papas feels like a fantastic partnership as there is strong synergy between our customer base. We see many pregnant customers visiting the store so this is a great opportunity for both brands.”

The opening marks a return to Bristol for Mamas & Papas and is part of the retailer’s latest phase of investment in its brand and retail proposition. This has included the refurbishment of six Mamas & Papas stores so far this year and the opening of new concept stores in Glasgow and Liverpool last year.

Mamas & Papas retail director Steve Abse said: “We’re really looking forward to working with Next to strengthen their nursery furniture offering and to launch brand new categories, including equipment and travel, to their product range. At the same time, we continue to invest in our own outlets, offering a unique in-store experience so that we can consistently deliver the highest level of service and product quality.”
