LUKE 1977 to open Cheltenham store

Luxury menswear retailer LUKE 1977 is to launch a new store at Cheltenham’s The Brewery Quarter.

Having taken a 3,000 square foot unit adjacent to the forthcoming Urban Outfitters store, the brand will use the store to showcase its Luke Sport and Luke the Technical Tailor lines.

The brand has a number of celebrity fans including the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Bale, Will Mellor and Stormzy.

Rob Clarke of LUKE 1977 said: “We’re extremely excited to confirm plans for our Cheltenham store; the town has a superb retail heritage with many great brands already having representation.  The Brewery Quarter is the perfect location for us offering a prominent high street presence in a popular, established scheme."

LUKE 1977 currently has ten stores across the UK in centres such as The Bullring, Arndale Centre and Westfield.

Nikki Kontarines, asset manager at The Brewery Quarter management company, Martin Commercial Properties, said: “This letting continues our keen focus on bringing desirable and successful brands to Cheltenham’s High Street. LUKE 1977 has established stores across the country and helps to diversify the fashion mix within the town.”
