Loaf to open first store outside of London

Due to launch on 15 March, the store will add to the three London shops the company already operates.

Loaf’s founder Charlie Marshall said: “Loaf’s first Shack outside the capital has arrived. With squishy sofas and oodles of snooze spots, our new Guildford 'slow-room' is our latest homage to the art of loafing. We want visitors to enter our laid-back world, kick off their shoes and relax.”

Situated in the Tunsgate Quarter in the centre of Guildford, Loaf’s 5,000 square foot space will feature a mattress testing area, retro arcade games, a colouring station and a football table. There will also be an old school-style ice cream parlour.

Stuart Harris, commercial director and co-founder at Queensberry, added: “We’re thrilled that Loaf will be amongst the first shops to open at Tunsgate Quarter. To be home to Loaf’s first store outside London is testament to the unique, high-quality brand mix that we’re curating at the centre.”
