Little Greene to open second London showroom

Paint manufacturer Little Greene is to open a second London showroom on King’s Road.

The site will be the brand’s biggest to date following openings in Paris, Munich and Marylebone.

Due to launch later this month, the 1,719 square foot space is being designed by an in-house team. The showroom will feature a luxury colour consultancy suite on the lower floor as well as a large feature wall displaying Little Greene’s bespoke Colours of England collection. There will also be an on-site tinting and mixing machine that will enable customers to take away paint in every colour and finish direct from the store.

The brand is planning to coincide the store’s launch with the start of the London Design Festival.

Little Green managing director David Mottershead said: “Having enjoyed great success with our Marylebone showroom, as well as our European outlets in Paris and Munich, we had been working assiduously to find the location for an even larger store. Fashionable and chic, but friendly and approachable, the King’s Road and Little Greene seemed just the perfect fit.”

Part of the Sloane Stanley Estate, King’s Road has also recently welcomed an exhibition from Chelsea Art Society. In addition, Green and Stone, one of the estate’s oldest retailers, was recently voted Chelsea’s ‘Most Loved’ shop by Time Out.

Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, said: ”Little Greene’s historical roots complement the rich heritage of the Sloane Stanley estate and their new showroom will add to our vibrant range of bespoke retailers already available in Chelsea. “
