Laura Ashley launches menswear collection
The new capsule collection called ‘Man at LA’ includes 14 men’s shirts, all of which have been made in Italy. The retailer said it had given the range a tailored look using a range of patterns and colours.
The collection will be sold in selected stores as well as on the retailer’s website with each shirt priced at £70.
In the 19 weeks to 8 December 2012, Laura Ashley’s total retail sales increased by 4.2% year-on-year, with like-for-like sales rising by 4.9%.
Online sales were up 22.6% in the period boosted by the launch of a mobile shopping site.
