Kitchen and bedroom retailer Betta Living ceases trading

Kitchen and bedroom retailer Betta Living has ceased trading with hundreds of jobs put at risk.
A notice posted on the company’s website on 4 November said it had made an application to appoint an administrator.
It added: “We anticipate the administrator will be appointed next week and will consider all options to try and secure the continuation of the business but at present Betta living has temporarily ceased to trade.”
Founded in 1966, Betta Living operates outlets in more than 70 towns across the UK.
