Keeping Track Via Web and App
Home delivery management company MetaPack has launched Parcel-Track.com – an intelligent parcel tracking engine that has been developed and used internally by the company as a standard feature in their multi-carrier management software and which has now been made available as a standalone service.
Available for the first time as a website, Parcel-Track.com also features as one of the time-saving apps on the newly launched flagship product from Pitney Bowes - the Connect + Series mailing system.
Both businesses and individuals rely on track and trace technology to keep informed - and to inform others – about important deliveries. In the past, this meant searching for the right carrier website, logging in and accessing the tracking screen. Parcel-Track.com reduces the time and aggravation that currently surrounds the track and trace of posted items.
Parcel-Track.com provides a single point of entry to find tracking information for any parcel shipped via a tracked service - regardless of which carrier was used.
Parcel-Track.com presents the user with one simple box to enter any tracking number from any carrier and retrieves the status of the delivery within seconds. Carrier tracking available through the engine includes: FedEx, APC, UK Mail, City-Link, La Poste, DHL, DPD, HDNL, Hermes, Interlink, Parcelforce, Royal Mail Special, Tuffnells, TNT and UPS, etc. The platform is free of charge and requires no registration or log-in.
Pitney Bowes has re-skinned parcel-track.com, calling the service ‘Track a parcel’ – one of a series of apps featured on the groundbreaking Connect + Series. After two taps on the Connect + Series’ full-colour touch-screen, the mailroom operator can retrieve any tracking information and answer internal or customer queries within seconds.
Patrick Wall, CEO & Co-Founder, MetaPack will be speaking about ‘A Real Time Single View Of Your Deliveries In A Multichannel Marketplace’ at the Retail Bulletin’s 2nd Multichannel Summit 2011. Sponsored by k3, the event takes place in London on February 2nd 2022. For more information click here.
