John Lewis signs up to Blackheath food and music festival
John Lewis has signed up as a partner for the first ever food and music festival to be held on Londons Blackheath Common.
The On Blackheath event, which will take place over two days in September, will include performances from bands such as Massive Attack and Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls as well as sets from DJ Gilles Peterson.
The event will also feature a farmers market, pop-up food stands and culinary stage demonstrations from well-known chefs such as Gizzi Erskine, Simon Hulstone, Richard Bainbridge and Neil Rankin.
The festival is expected to attract around 30,000 people.
Craig Inglis, marketing director at John Lewis, said: "We are really excited to be launching On Blackheath, the first music and food festival on Blackheath Common. With so many amazing artists and hugely talented, renowned chefs showcasing their cooking skills, we're sure it's going to be a very special weekend".
