Jessops opens 50th store
Jessops has opened in its 50th location in the form of a concession shop at Sainsburys in Bristols Emersons Green.
The new store rounds off a year of expansion for the camera retailer.
Other key milestones for the brand in 2015 include a new flagship location in Norwich, a return to Preston, and the partnership with Sainsbury’s which has seen concessions launched in 11 supermarket locations with more to open in 2016.
The new store at Emersons Green will offer shoppers a wide range of cameras, gadgets such as drones and telescopes, and try-before-you-buy product displays. Customers will also be able to take advantage of one-hour professional printing services, photography courses and a click and collect service.
Neil Old, chief executive of Jessops, said: “The opening of Jessops at Emersons Green concludes a very successful year for Jessops. In 2015, our vision has been executed perfectly with fourteen new store openings, allowing us to bring our fantastic service to even more customers around the country. We are incredibly excited to be expanding the business.”
