Jaeger appoints two new creative directors

Premium fashion retailer Jaeger has made two senior appointments within its design team.

Jsen Wintle has been appointed as creative director of menswear, reporting to director of menswear and e-commerce Caroline Lee. Sheila McKain-Waid will take on the same role for womenswear and will report to Jaeger director of womenswear Liza Webb.

Wintle joined Jaeger in September, having previously run his own fashion label Wintle Man. He is also a former guest designer for Marks & Spencer’s Autograph range.

McKain-Waid will take up her new role later this month, joining from fashion brand Daks where she was head of design.

Commenting on the appointments Jaeger chief executive Colin Henry said: “I’m delighted to welcome Jsen and Sheila to Jaeger as we continue to strengthen the creative team. This injection of luxury expertise demonstrates our commitment to developing a strong premium womenswear and menswear offer.

“With Sheila we are getting world class creativity and great luxury expertise for our core area of womenswear. Jsen has a rich and extensive experience in luxury menswear design as well as having run his eponymous label Wintle. I’m immensely excited about all the ideas they will collectively bring to the brand.”
