Jack Wills considers possibility of float or sale
Jack Wills, the preppy fashion retailer, is reported to be considering selling a stake in the business or a possible flotation according to the Sunday Times.
The newspaper has reported that the brand is in talks with Goldman Sachs to discuss possible options. The business could be valued up to £500 million.
Jack Wills was founded in 1999 by Peter Williams and Rob Shaw and now has 46 stores in the UK and Ireland, and five in the US. Williams and Shaw own a 70% stake in the busines with most of the the remaining shares owned by private equity firm Inflexion.
