Jack & Jones and Swarovksi choose Glasgow Fort for their first UK out-of-town stores

Jack & Jones, owned by Bestseller, will open a 2,300 sq ft store at the shopping park and Swarovski a 1,700 sq ft shop.  Other retailers  which have chosen Glasgow Fort for regional flagships include H&M and New Look.

Glasgow Fort Shopping Park is owned by specialist retail warehouse fund the Hercules Unit Trust.

Commenting on the Jack & Jones new store, Allan Nielsen, country manager at Bestseller, said: "The opening of a store at Glasgow Fort is very exciting for Jack & Jones.

"It is an opportunity to introduce the brand to a strong regional catchment in an environment that is very popular with our core customer of 18 to 25 year old men. We are confident that this will be a success."

Hayley Quinn, director UK & Ireland at Swarovski, commented: "Swarovski is delighted to be opening a new store at Glasgow Fort, the latest in a number of new stores which will allow Swarovski to strengthen its position as a premium retailer in the UK.  Scotland has proved to be very successful for Swarovski and continues to deliver excellent growth."
