Intu shopping centres to welcome 100,000 students to Students Nights
Students will be offered discounts and deals by retailers, restaurateurs and leisure operators at 16 of Intu’s shopping centres across England, Scotland and Wales.
In addition, each shopping centre will arrange a series of attractions reflecting local interests and tastes which will include activities, discounts and competitions, such as a chance to win a limited edition Superdry coat. A number of centres will also be raising donations for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Roger Binks, customer experience director of Intu, said: “Student Night is the second busiest retail period of the year after Christmas. This time, the events will be even bigger, bolder and better than ever before. We have many of the best shopping centres in the strongest locations, including in major student towns like Newcastle and Nottingham. As a result, Student Night is a key part of our calendar.”
With some £2 million expected to be spent at the events, the campaign is being supported by retail brands such as Superdry, Jack & Jones, New Look, Foot Asylum and Blue Inc.
