Intu launches media partnerships with Hello! and Cosmopolitan magazines
Shopping centre owner Intu has announced the launch of two national media partnerships with Hello! magazine and Cosmpolitan.
Intu is teaming up with HELLO! magazine to host a season of catwalk events inside its shopping centres while Cosmopolitan magazine will participate in Intu’s in-centre national Jean Genie campaign.
The Spring/Summer 2013 campaign with Hello! will include in-centre catwalk shows featuring both designer and high street names including Boss, Zara, Superdry, House of Fraser and Primark.
The Jean Genie campaign with Cosmopolitan will help shoppers to find the perfect pair of jeans with stylists providing free style advice and tips on finding the right accessories from retailers within the centres.
Trevor Pereira, Intu commercial director, said: "Being a national brand means that we can attract strong media partners who are excited by our 30 million unique visitors. And our retailers love these campaigns because they drive new waves of footfall to the centres for longer, increasing exposure to their products and therefore increasing sales."
Intu operates 15 shopping centres across the UK including the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Lakeside in Essex. The campaigns will run throughout April and May.
