Industrie chooses London's Seven Dials for first store outside Australia
Industrie, the Australian mens fashion brand, has chosen Londons Seven Dials as the location for its first store outside Australia.
The brand will open a 1,234 sq ft store in Earlham Street at the end of September. The opening follows the launch of a pop-up store for Farrell Menswear, Robbie Williams’ clothing label, in the street at the beginning of the month.
Farrell and Industrie bring the total number of fashion brands to select Seven Dials for flagships to nine in the last 12 months in line with landlord Shaftesbury’s strategy to develop the area into a major retail destination for UK and international brands that cannot be found elsewhere in the capital.
Stores that have signed up in the last year include El Ganso, Lee Jeans, Havaianas, Le Coq Sportif, Foxhall, Cambridge Satchel Company and Peter Werth.
Commenting on the success of the strategy, Brian Bickell, chief executive of Shaftesbury PLC, said: “Our tenant mix strategy and active engagement with brands continues to attract some of the most exciting retailers and restaurateurs to Seven Dials. Their commitment further enhances Seven Dials’ reputation as a the destination of choice in London for the very best UK and international independent brands.”
