HTK helps brands reward the behaviours that matter

The latest update to HTK’s Horizon Loyalty Hub enables brands to encourage and reward an unlimited range of customer behaviours

Ipswich, UK – 05 April 2017

Loyalty solution provider HTK has announced a new release of the Horizon Loyalty Hub that will make programs even more rewarding for customers and brands alike, through the ability to incentivise any customer activity.

Research has shown that loyalty members want to be rewarded for a greater variety of behaviours, beyond simply making a purchase. In fact, according to the latest report from Nielsen, 76% of customers wanted to be rewarded for completing a specific activity, while 62% said they would like to be rewarded for social engagement.

To address this need, HTK has made it possible for businesses to customise the way their members earn points. Brands using the proprietary Horizon Loyalty Hub could already award points for purchases and social engagement; and now Horizon enables businesses to create custom “loyalty behaviours” as well.

This means that points can be awarded for activities such as reading an article, watching a video, completing a survey, attending an event – or almost any other activity. Horizon automatically selects the point-earning activities that will be most relevant or appealing to each member, and presents them through the brand’s online loyalty portal, mobile app or other marketing channels.

Head of Product Management at HTK, Pete Thompson, commented: “Not only does this give customers the flexibility they desire, it also enables brands to incentivise the behaviours that truly influence brand loyalty. And because Horizon’s reward mechanisms are customisable, brands can create a program that’s fully tailored to their business objectives.”
