Hotel Chocolat's shop and cafe concept to open in Worcester

On the menu will be the brand’s famous drinking chocolate and the outlet will also sell Hotel Chocolat's full range of luxury chocolates.

The new café is one of only a handful in the country with others situated in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, London’s Covent Garden and York.

Hotel Chocolat has signed a 10 year lease at a rent of £90,000 a year on a unit previously occupied by Monsoon.

Operated by Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, Cathedral Square is currently undergoing a £20 million refurbishment which is due for completion in Spring 2017. SHOF has already signed a number of new leisure tenants including Ask, Byron Hamburgers, Cosy Club, Miller and Carter and Fitness4less.

Nick Webb of of SHOF said: “We are delighted to welcome Hotel Chocolat to Cathedral Square. For such a dynamic brand to bring its new concept café to Worcester is a great endorsement of the city centre and our scheme.”
