Hotel Chocolat grows luxury lineup at Queensgate
Hotel Chocolat has opened a new 1,400 square foot store in Peterboroughs Queensgate shopping centre.
The chocolatier and cocoa grower, which has over 80 shops in the UK, has taken space on Queensgate’s East Mall, opposite Pandora and The Perfume Shop.
Peter Harris, co-founder of Hotel Chocolat, said: “We are delighted to bring our passion for chocolate to Peterborough and join Queensgate’s industry-leading retail line-up. The centre is a regional destination that boasts a consistently strong performance, which are the main factors that drew us here, and make it the perfect place for our next site.”
Since the centre was acquired by Invesco and Lendlease took over the asset management 18 months ago, 15 new brands have joined the scheme. In addition, Westgate Arcade has been refurbished and significant investment has been made in improving Queensgate’s car parks.
Guy Thomas, head of retail asset management at Lendlease, said: “Attracting such high calibre retailers is paramount for us. We are pleased to welcome Hotel Chocolat and their impressive retail offer to Queensgate, ensuring we continue to provide visitors with the very best experiences and maintain our regional draw and dominance.”
