Honey Birdette opens first US store
Australian lingerie brand Honey Birdette has chosen Century City in Los Angeles for the opening of its first US store.
The new concept shop has a luxury feel and features an Italian glass mirrored store front with a gold tiled arch at the entrance. There are also two private dressing rooms with custom-made whisky bar carts and “press for champagne” buttons as the retailer looks to offer a VIP experience for every customer.
Honey Birdette’s managing director Eloise Monaghan said: “We are focusing on unique designs concepts for all of our future boutiques and each footprint will have its own unique element. Some might have a champagne bar for example, a private salon in one, a peep show in another, a stage or a catwalk. The black and gold coloured palette reflects the class and exclusivity of the Honey Birdette brand, whilst the introduction of more subtle materials like dark gloss wall tiles and heavy pistachio velvet curtains in the fitting rooms, bring a warmth and richness that will appeal to the international shopper.”
Although Honey Birdette releases one new collection every week of the year, customers who visit the Century City shop will also have access to exclusive and limited edition lingerie and accessories
The store opening was celebrated with a VIP launch party.
