Holland & Barrett launches £9 million advertising campaign
Health food retailer Holland & Barrett has launched a new £9 million advertising campaign as it revamps its brand messaging to build brand loyalty and highlight the breadth of its product range.
The campaign, which includes TV advertising, print and digital work, uses the strapline ‘The Good Life’ with the aim of inspiring customers to live happy and healthy lives.
Created by RKCR/Y&R, the advert features the voice of Sir David Jason and animated woodland creatures telling the audience about promotions and communicating key messages.
The campaign marks a departure from the retailer’s previous adverts which focused on promoting vitamins and supplements.
Rupert Williams, managing director of RKCR/Y&R said: "Holland & Barrett is one of the country’s most recognisable High Street brands and this work stays true to that familiarity, whilst making them distinctive and emphasising their advantage, in an increasingly crowded category."
Phil Geary, director of marketing, Holland & Barrett, added: "This campaign offered a great opportunity to revisit and amplify our brand messaging internally and externally to best capitalise on the public’s ever growing interest and investment in personal health. We have high expectations for this stand-out work that champions our people and product in such a memorable manner."
