H&M headlines series of new deals at Ilford's The Exchange
Ilfords The Exchange has said a raft of new deals will herald a new chapter for the shopping centre.
Fashion retailer H&M has signed for a 20,000 square foot store spanning two floors which is situated opposite Debenhams. Due to open in autumn 2016, the shop will offer H&M’s full range of menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.
Meanwhile, New Look has moved and upsized into a 7,500 square foot unit and Rymans has relocated into a new 2,000 square foot store. In addition, iCandy has upsized and relocated to a 1,700 square foot shop to make way for the New Look store, while Goldsmiths has renewed its lease on its 1,500 square foot store.
Renee Moran, asset manager and vice president at Meyer Bergman, said: “The asset management team have remained focused on bringing the best UK and international brands to Exchange Ilford, working together with retailers to create the right space and environment for them to thrive here. Creating the right space for H&M is a defining moment for the centre, and adds to an exceptional tenant mix. We look forward to announcing further deals in the next six months.”
