Grolsch Blond 4% to launch in Off Trade

Following its release on draught in the On–Trade last year, Grolsch Blond will be available to the Off Trade from Oct 09. It will be sold in 6 x 275ml bottles and 4 x 440ml can packs and is listed in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Morrison’s as well as Specialist and Convenience outlets.

Grolsch Blond 4% to launch in Off Trade

Grolsch launched its new “Taste. Amplified.” advertising campaign, featuring the World’s most iconic beer brand Swingtop, on 5th October. As part of this new £13m campaign, a 6 sheet creative announcing the launch of Grolsch Blond will be seen at targeted retailers by over 29 million shoppers. 

Off trade promotions for Blond will include free glassware to promote Continental – style drinking and link-buy promotions with cheese and snacks.The 4% premium category is in huge growth – 184% this year demonstrating strong consumer demand. It is anticipated that Grolsch Blond will add value to this growing sector which is drawing incremental shoppers and spend to the Off Trade Beer Category by drawing on its premium brand values.

Grolsch has nearly 400 years of brewing tradition and offers an attractive and exciting provenance, genuine product credentials, quality image cues and a real point of difference. It has remained faithful to its brewing heritage, making a range of distinctive tasting, best in class, beers.
