Griffin Technology opens first-ever retail store
8 June 2012 | by The Retail BulletinThe 140 square metre store features an interactive play area where shoppers can test, play and try out Griffin’s products. There is also a kid’s area showcasing the retailer’s tech products for children and a ‘charge bar’ offering shoppers the opportunity to top up their mobile device batteries in-store.
US based Griffin, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, is hoping to benefit from increased footfall generated by the 2012 Olympics in London.
Mark Rowan, president of Griffin Technology, said: "The opening of our very first store celebrates a huge milestone for Griffin Technology. We have been leading the way in developing innovative and groundbreaking accessories for the past 20 years."
"This store will allow us to share our vision and our products with consumers firsthand. And, with the spotlight very much focused on London and the 2012 Olympics, there’s no better place to unveil our very first store than at Westfield, Stratford City, directly across from Olympic Stadium."
