GNC opens latest concept store in Manchester's Arndale
The new store features the brand’s ‘TRX Challenge Zone’ which houses bespoke fitness equipment for staff to demonstrate a variety of muscle building and body toning exercises to customers.
It also includes a ‘sports bar’ where shoppers can purchase single protein shakes to takeaway or top up a bottle they carry with them. Other features include interactive touch screen displays loaded with product information and one-minute digital exercise videos for customers to explore while they shop.
All of the store’s sales staff have undertaken the ‘Qualified to Advise’ training programme which enables them to advise customers on sports nutrition, health and wellbeing up to A-Level standard.
GNC’s head of marketing Nicola Simpson said: “We are really excited about our latest concept store as the new interactive additions, along with a wide range of high quality products, provide a great experience for anyone visiting GNC. We look forward to welcoming the people of Manchester to their new branch and helping them get one step closer to their own personal fitness goals.”
GNC is owned by NBTY Europe which also operates Holland & Barrett stores in the UK, DeTuinen in The Netherlands, Essenza in Belgium and Nature’s Way in Ireland.
