Gatwick launches campaign to raise awareness of shopping deals at the airport
The Gatwick Good Buys campaign will see promotions staff positioned after the security desks at the airport, where they will advise passengers on the range of deals available at the airport and where they can find them.
Armed with tablet computers, the promotions staff will ask passers-by if they can assist with any shopping queries and show them the current day’s deals via a bespoke microsite.
The microsite will be categorised so passengers can carry out searches for any specific items they are looking for.
John Hackwood, marketing manager at Gatwick Airport, commented: “In addition to the 20% tax-free savings that passengers can benefit from by shopping at Gatwick, we have also introduced Gatwick Good Buys, an initiative that is enabling passengers to make further savings on popular branded items that are currently on offer in our major retail stores.”
The Gatwick Good Buys campaign is currently set to run until the end of September.
