French Connection opens first pop-up convenience store

Fashion retailer French Connection has opened its first pop-up “convenience store” in London’s Old Street tube station where shoppers will be able to collect their online purchases.

To be known as the F Store, the trial pop-up will remain in the station for four months until Christmas.

As well as providing a place for customers to collect their online orders, the 1,000 sq ft store will stock a range of gifts and key items from the retailer’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.

French Connection is offering customers free same-day delivery to the pop-up if they purchase goods online before 1pm.

The retailer has partnered with Transport for London and pop-up marketplace Appear Here to launch the Old Street store. Other pop-up stores to have launched at the station include Surf Dome and Moleskin.
