French Connection like-for-like sales rise by 2.1%
In a statement issued today, French Connection said the performance of its UK/Europe retail business had improved despite lower levels of clearance activity early in the period. The retailer attributed the improvement to its Autumn 2013 range, which was the first season collection from its new design team, and to the impact of operational improvements.
UK/Europe wholesale revenue was in line with the same period last year representing an improvement on the downward trend seen over recent seasons.
The retailer added that it was continuing to make good progress but that the full year results would be dependent on the performance of the group over the key Christmas trading period.
