Freeport Braintree welcomes new brands

Designer outlet centre Freeport Braintree has welcomed a trio of new brands.

Cashmere retailer Pure Collection has chosen Freeport Braintree for its debut outlet store. The 750 square foot shop is situated on the North Mall near to Kurt Geiger, Ernest Jones and Ben Sherman.

Ingird Glasby, retail director for Pure Collection, said: “We are delighted to have launched our first ever outlet store at Freeport Braintree. The catchment, tenant mix and mall performance are highly impressive and we have already received a great response from customers. Securing a site among Braintree’s leading retail line up will undoubtedly benefit the continued success of our brand.”

In a second opening, luxury fashion retailer Hugo Boss has launched a 3,815 square foot Boss Menswear store adjacent to Tommy Hilfiger and Hollister’s first outlet store in Europe.

Meanwhile, The Cosmetics Company Store has opened a 1,602 square foot store opposite Hugo Boss.

The stores join a line-up of other premium fashion and lifestyle brands at Freeport Braintree which also includes Ted Baker, Barbour, Molton Brown and Hobbs.

Paul Wray, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “The addition of these new stores enhances Freeport Braintree’s extensive range of popular trend-led fashion and beauty brands. Demand for space has never been stronger, with more and more great retailers recognising Freeport Braintree’s dominant position in the region.”
