Global online fashion retailer Forzieri sees conversion rise by a fifth following implementation of Adobe Scene7’s technology.

Global luxury fashion e-tailer Forzieri has seen a significant sales lift and reduction in production costs and returns following implementation of Adobe Scene 7's Dynamic Imaging and Visual Configurator technology.

ine, reported a 20% increase in conversion, reduction in production costs of 30% and a fall in returns of a third after adding the imaging functions to its website.

Founded in 1992, Forzieri sells to a global community of fashion-conscious consumers in more than 150 countries, with flagships in the UK, Italy, the US, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, China, Japan and Australia. It sells top names such as Gucci, Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as exclusive brands including Bentley, Lamborghini and Francesco Biasia with Forzieri's own lines.

Adobe Scene7 was appointed to provide product zooming and rendering capabilities for advanced detail across 90 product categories, create a custom shirt configurator robust enough to deliver product configuration on a granular level, reduce time and costs associated with web production through dynamic content resizing, along with increasing sales, reducing customer support calls and minimising an already-low return rate.

“From my familiarity with other merchandising solutions I can say that none rival the ease-of-implementation of Scene7 and shortly after the integration, we experienced an immediate lift in conversion,” said Andrea Forzieri, CEO and Founder of Forzieri. “It is critical to our success to present an interactive site in which our products are featured in the most detail-rich format imaginable, and Scene7 has helped us achieve that.”

Forzieri's Product Zoom function has lifted conversion on the site between 15% and 20% because it allows customers to intimately view products of interest. From showcasing precious stones and one-of-a-kind handbags, shoppers know exactly what they are buying - and when the ticket item is over $200 it has been proven to reduce returns. Forzieri's return rate is now 5% (down from 7.5%), which is 11% less than the industry average for luxury merchandisers.

Forzieri's shirt configurator enables customers to design an Italian-cut custom made shirt. From extra fine fabric and specific cut and size to button preferences and monogramming options, shoppers can build their creations online.

Scene7's Dynamic Imaging with Zoom became a key component in Forzieri's site refresh. “Being able to zoom in on the inside of a luxury handbag or the stitching on an exquisite wallet is critical to our business because understanding the quality of our merchandise is one of the primary decision-making levers,” Forzieri added.
