Feelunique upgrades full year sales forecast
Feelunique, the online cosmetics and beauty products retailer, has surpassed its financial targets for the first half of the year with a 57% increase in like-for-like sales to £10.4 million.
As a result, the company has now upgraded its sales forecast for the full year from £24 million to £26.5 million.
Founded in 2005, Feelunique’s turnover reached £16 million in the last financial year and pre-tax profits grew to £1.1 million.
Aaron Chatterley, CEO of Feelunique, said: “The economic downturn has clearly had an impact on growth, but our latest set of results underlines the resilience of our model.
“Consumers are increasingly looking to purchase cosmetics online rather than on the high street and it is clear that the market will continue to grow rapidly.”
