eCommerce Expo reports a third year of growth since UBM ownership
eCommerce Expo, which took place on the 2nd and 3rd of October at Londons Olympia, reports that 86% of the floor space is already re-booked for next year.
The organisers say that the show saw around 6000 industry buyers visit across the two days.
"eCommerce Expo showed that the industry is thriving with a huge 35% growth in terms of overall size and a 26% increase in pure stand space alone since the 2011 event, proving that it is still the UK’s leading and biggest event dedicated to online selling strategy and implementation; delivering serious buyers to a whole host of industry leading and innovative exhibitors".
Exhibitor and visitor feedback echoed this positivity with Karen Dunne-Squire from The Fulfilling Station saying “We’re delighted with the quality of the delegates. We’ve won 20 new clients and made 45 good leads. This is our first exhibition and we came along as we have launched a new product. Having all fulfilment companies in one place was a genius idea.”
Roger Wilcocks, Director of Screen Pages said: “We love eCommerce Expo and have already confirmed our presence for 2013. The quality and quantity of visitors is excellent and it’s always a pleasure to discuss best practice eCommerce with a packed out seminar room. It’s also a great way to catch up with clients and partners to encourage long term business development. Repeating this sentiment, John Courtney, Executive Chairman of Strategy Internet Marketing said: “Yet again another great Expo, the footfall was good and we even had queues at times for our Pay On Results SEO! Needless to say, we have already booked a bigger stand for next year.”
Tim Johnson, Director of Visualsoft eCommerce also said "The eCommerce Expo 2012 at Olympia was hugely successful for Visualsoft, both in terms of brand awareness and new business enquiries. As conference speakers and sponsors of the event we found it gave great exposure before, during and after the show."
