Dreams appoints former Mothercare MD Mike Logue as chief executive
Former Mothercare managing director Mike Logue has been appointed as the new chief executive of bed retailer Dreams.
Logue will replace Nick Worthington who stepped down from the role in June after 16 years with the business.
Dreams chief finance officer Kim Zaheer said: "We are very pleased to welcome Mike to Dreams. He brings with him a huge amount of both retail and operational expertise and we very much look forward to working with him."
Prior Mothercare, Logue was commercial director at Asda and has also served as the managing director of Gamestation.
Commenting on his new role Logue said: "Dreams is a fantastic brand and I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the company forward at this exciting stage and build upon the solid foundations that have been laid by the management team. I am greatly looking forward to working closely with them and the rest of the team."
Dreams went into administration earlier this after struggling with heavy debts. The company was subsequently bought by private equity firm Sun European Partners in a pre-pack administration deal.
