Dixons Carphone appoints Ian McGregor as marcomms director

Dixons Carphone has appointed Ian McGregor as marketing communications director.

McGregor will succeed head of brand communications Benjamin Kaye.

McGregor was previously VP for European marketing and shared services at games company Activision. Other former roles include international consumer marketing director at Electronic Arts and board account director at Publicis.

Dixons Carphone said: “We are pleased to confirm Ian McGregor has joined Dixons Carphone as marketing communications director. Ian will have responsibility for the advertising creative, media buying, visual store comms and consumer PR of the company’s Currys PC World brand. He is warmly welcomed to the team.”
