DFS sets price for London listing
Sofa retailer DFS has announced that it is to price its shares at between 245p and 310p for its initial public offering which would value the company at around £585 million, at the mid-point of the price range.
Having announced its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange last month, the retailer said it expects to raise around £98 million through the flotation. The funds will be used to reduce the company’s debt.
Ian Filby, chief executive of DFS, said: “Our vision is to take DFS from being a great British business to a world class business.
“We have a clear strategy to further broaden our appeal, enhance our service and ensure our products are easily accessible to customers through our UK and international store expansion programme, continued development of our multichannel proposition and constant enhancement of our product range.”
