Delsey launches first online store
The website features an "airline" option that enables shoppers to find luggage suited to the size restrictions imposed by the airline they are travelling with.
It also has a section featuring tips to answer frequently asked travel questions such as how to get the most out of suitcases, how to choose luggage, and how to travel safely.
Going beyond the ecommerce offering, it also offers a look back on 70 years of the brand as well as exclusive information on the art of being "well-travelled" to inspire shoppers.
New features planned will also include product reviews and an “ideal luggage” search engine option.
Alexandre Chevalier, Delsey sales director for Europe, said: “The launch of the e-store in France, which will be available across Europe next year, reinforces our omnichannel distribution strategy.
“Ecommerce currently accounts for 7% of our sales in Europe and our goal is double-digit accelerated growth over the next five years.”
