Debenhams signs up Richard Quinn for its designer roster

Debenhams is to add a new name to its Designers at Debenhams roster with the signing of Richard Quinn.

Presenting his mainline spring/summer 2018 show at London Fashion Week this week, Quinn is known for his vivid print designs and signature floral design handwriting.

His collaboration with Debenhams will launch in May with a collection of 12 dresses available online and in selected stores with price points ranging from £69 to £149. A second collection will be created for spring/summer 2019.

Having graduated with a Master of Arts in Fashion at Central St Martins in 2016, Quinn then created his own label and also established a print studio which he opens up to young designers.

Debenhams managing director of fashion and home, Steven Cook said: “We are hugely excited to introduce Richard to the roster of Designers at Debenhams. Collaborating with design talent to create collections with appeal to the high street is a compelling part of Debenhams and we are delighted to recruit Richard’s fresh and unique aesthetic to our offer.”

In spring 2016 design duo Preen also joined the Designer at Debenhams stable of talent. Following the success of the range, a capsule Studio by Preen dresses collection has been added for spring/summer 2018 as the retailer extends the line to 48 stores.
