Cwmbran Shopping signs up new brands
The lettings follow a year of significant investment into the scheme which has seen around £8 million spent on store fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
The Fragrance Shop will take a 1,130 square foot store on a five-year lease while Papa John’s, the take-out and pizza delivery restaurant, has secured 850 square feet on a 15-year lease.
In addition, ladies fashion retailer Roman Originals has signed a new five-year lease on its 4,200 square foot store.
The brands will join retailers such as Jack & Jones, TopShop and Pandora at the M&G Real Estate scheme.
Rupert Milne, asset manager at M&G Real Estate, said: “The Fragrance Shop and Papa John’s join an already successful tenant line-up, as part of our active asset management strategy that has allowed us to cement Cwmbran Shopping’s positon as one of Wales’ core retail locations.
“Significant investment into the scheme over the past year demonstrates retailers’ commitment to Cwmbran and, with free parking and a diversified tenant mix that serve 18 million customers annually, the scheme is set to attract further interest from national retailers.”
