GENERAL MERCHANDISE

The company has taken a 1,046 square foot shop to add to its 100 stores worldwide which are both company and franchise owned.

Cuplé is looking to open further stores in the capital in places such as Marylebone High Street, King’s Road and Covent Garden.

Peter Flint, an associate in Savills Central London retail team, said: “This was an ideal location for Cuplé’s first London store, benefiting from a premium nearby retail offer and good footfall from the surrounding residential areas and high visitor numbers to Notting Hill.

“Cuplé is a fast growing international brand with ambitious expansion plans and we look forward to helping to secure them further stores in London.”

Research from Savills shows there have been nine new international retail entrants in the London market so far this year including DSqaured2 on Conduit Street, Lindex at Westfield Stratford, IWC Schaffhausen on New Bond Street, and Billionaires Boys Club on Marshall Street, Soho. A further 11 are set to open by the end of the year such as Erdem on South Audley Street and Uno de 50 on Regent Street.
