The Goodness Gang is hitting town

The task of the World Health Organisation, Governments and parents to encourage children to eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day is going to become lot easier, according to global sales promotion consultancy TCC, as it launches its range of collectible soft toys.

Featuring five vegetable characters and five fruit characters, The Goodness Gang has instant appeal for children and adults alike and can be used in a wide range of retail promotions, while still reinforcing the serious underlying health messages.

The Goodness Gang has been devised by TCC and the company exclusively owns all global promotional, copyright and image rights.

“Fruit and vegetables have never been the easiest sell to children, or some adults for that matter.  We believe The Goodness Gang will provide the perfect way to attract attention, encourage purchases and encourage repeat business,” says David Ringer General Manager UK & Ireland for TCC.

“The gang members also put a smile on the face of everyone who sees them.  Shopping should be a fun experience as well as a domestic necessity and I don’t think many people could say they have ever had fun buying fruit and vegetables.  The Goodness Gang is going to change that.

“Our experience from running a wide range of promotions across the globe, consistently demonstrates that investing in creative promotions in store will not only bring in extra top line sales but most importantly they will improve long term relations with the customer, especially families,” adds Ringer.
