Cotswold Outdoor and Snow & Rock Group announce new company name

Cotswold Outdoor and the Snow and Rock Group have announced a company name change following their recent acquisition by PAI Partners.

The move means that the trading structures of Cotswold Outdoor, Snow & Rock, Cycle Surgery and Runners Need now exist as one single legal entity called Outdoor and Cycle Concepts. This follows the recent acquisition of the three retailers by Cotswold Outdoor’s parent company, The AS Adventure Group, which is owned by PAI Partners.

Working alongside its existing Cotswold Outdoor brand, The AS Adventure Group will work with Snow & Rock, Runners Need and Cycle Surgery to develop customer propositions across multi-activity categories to become the largest outdoor group in the UK with a combined turnover of £210 million.

“We’re delighted to announce the formation of Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd,” said Hans Falkenburg, chief executive of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group.

“This is a great opportunity for us to grow our portfolio within the UK market, and to continue to develop our product offerings for customers.”
