Conviviality tweaks leadership team
The company said it has brought together all of its drinks buying teams under the leadership of Steve Jebson who joined the business in November 2015 and has now become buying and insights director.
Meanwhile, Conviviality's selling and marketing functions within Conviviality Direct and Conviviality Trading have been brought together under James Lousada. In his new role as commercial director, Lousada will also lead the Bibendum and Matthew Clark sales and marketing teams who support customer relationships in the on-trade.
In a further change, Mark Riley has been appointed as operations director. His responsibilities will encompass the Bristol customer contact centre, Bristol supply chain teams and the entire Conviviality logistics operation including the relationship with Trade Team,Conviviality’s third party provider. Riley joined the group when it acquired Bibendum in May 2016 where he was managing director.
The company has also announced that Mark Aylwin will be stepping down from the board and as managing director of Conviviality Direct on 31 January as he has now fulfilled his objective of integrating Matthew Clark and Bibendum into Conviviality Direct.
Nigel Basey will also be leaving the business.
