Coast opens at Liverpool One as the shopping centre celebrates record footfall
The 2,956 sq ft store features bespoke ‘Liverpool’ references throughout, including a ‘Liverpool Loves…’ wall display and tailored point-of-sale material.
The store is the first Coast shop outside London to showcase the brand’s new stock package. The new range is targeting the ‘Stylish Party’ customer in both product offer and pricing.
The news coincides with a record-breaking weekend at Liverpool ONE. On 30 November, Liverpool ONE enjoyed its busiest ever day since opening, with footfall reaching 180,000, 4.5% ahead of the same day last year. Sales on 30 November were up by around 9% versus last year. In addition, Liverpool ONE attracted more than one million visitors in ten days, a 7.5% increase on the same period in 2012.

Along with the other new additions to Liverpool ONE this year, including the upsized Ted Baker, Tessuti, Byron and Browns, we have a very compelling offer that is driving our record-breaking performance this Christmas.”
Liverpool ONE has seen 21 brands opening new stores in the shopping centre in the last 12 months including Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols, Browns and Byron. Tessuti has also opened its first store in Liverpool and Ted Baker recently opened is brand new store upsize. The seasonal Pop up Harvey Nichols Food Market also returned for its third consecutive year.
