Coast appoints former M&S head of brands as its new marketing and ecommerce director
Joining Coast on 29 October, O’Keeffe will have operational responsibility for marketing, PR and ecommerce, reporting to Coast managing director Margaret McDonald. She will also work with the Coast executive team to define and communicate the brand’s positioning across all channels as the only occasionwear specialist on the high street.
Prior to working with Marks & Spencer, O’Keeffe held marketing director roles at Arnotts, Dundrum Town Centre and Mars. Her early career also included posts at Unilever and Diageo.
Commenting on the appointment, Margaret McDonald said: "Jayne’s wealth of experience is a perfect match for Coast as we continue our strategy of brand investment, omni-channel sales growth and expansion both domestically and internationally. Our aim is to turn shopping into an occasion in itself and Jayne will drive that passion across all customer touch points."
O’Keeffe’s appointment coincides with the regional roll-out of Coast’s new flagship store concept in Manchester’s Trafford Centre this week.
