Clinton Cards finance director stands down

Greeting cards retailer Clinton Cards has announced that Paul Salador has resigned as group finance director with immediate effect.

Salador joined Clintons in 1996 and has held the role of group finance director since 2009.

In a statement issued today Clintons said: “The board thanks Mr Salador for his valuable contribution to the company, in particular his role in ensuring the recent successful renegotiation of the company’s banking facilities.”

Martin Clifford-King is due to join the company as interim finance director on 3 January 2012. Clifford-King has extensive experience of working in retail businsses having held senior finance roles at HobbyCraft, Office Shoes, Costa Coffee, Harveys Furnishings, Evans and MFI.
