Chunk opens pop-up Nottingham store
Chunk, the childrens discount fashion store, has opened its first ever pop-up store in Nottingham City Centre.
Situated next to Whittard in Bridlesmith Gate, the 900 square foot store will remain open until 11 January.
The pop-up will stock designer clothing for children aged from 0-10 years old, including last season’s collections from stores such as Harrods, Selfridges and French Connection.
Chunk, which also has permanent stores in Radcliffe-on-Trent and Epworth in Doncaster, began life in Nottinghamshire at the start of 2014 after owners Frances Bishop and Rachel Mawby saw a gap in the market.
Bishop said: “We chose Nottingham for the pop up store, as the business was born here and the brand is well known, and we have received quite a bit of pressure on our social media channels to do something in the city during the run up to Christmas.
“We have also created an environment where the children can have a say in what they wear, whilst making it as easy as possible for mums and dads to shop.”
