Castrads to arrive on Fulham Road
Spread over two floors, the showroom will display the company’s selection of traditional cast iron radiators that are all hand made in Manchester. Due to open in October 2016, the store will be designed by an in-house team.
The Fulham Road showroom will be the brand’s second foothold in London, in addition to its Wimbledon Village site.
Nick Baylis of Castrads said: “Securing Fulham Road for our second London location is a major win for us. The prestige and affluence of the area, as well as its growing status as a hub for interior design and homewares, means we are thrilled to be opening here. Our focus on unrivalled customer service, rigorous quality assurance and respect for craftsmanship is the perfect match for an area which boasts some of the finest properties in the capital.”
The news follows a successful year for the Sloane Stanley Estate where new brands taking stores have included Ella Jade Interiors, Jane Taylor, Danish womenswear brand Noa Noa, lifestyle brand Woven and French boulangerie Orée.
Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, said: “The inherent quality and craftmanship of Castrads will complement perfectly our other premium design and lifestyle brands on the Fulham Road. Castrads further enhances our retail line-up and we are confident they will appeal to our design-conscious shoppers and residents in search of something special.”
Sloane Stanley is one of the oldest landowning estates in London and manages hundreds of residential and commercial properties on the King’s Road and Fulham Road.
