Canary Wharf's Jubilee Place extension signs up five new retailers

Canary Wharf Group has signed up five additional retail brands for its Jubilee Place Shopping Mall extension in east London.

Cadenzza, Cath Kidson, Pretty Ballerinas, Sweaty Betty and Wolford will be among the new shops to open, joining a further 15 retail brands already announced.

The Jubilee Place extension totals 44,000 sq ft of retail space and will result in the addition of twenty-five new stores to Canary Wharf’s existing offer of more than 280 shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.

Camille Waxer, chief administrative officer for Canary Wharf Group, said: “Our tenant mix at Canary Wharf is going from strength to strength. I am delighted to welcome our new tenants, Wolford, Cadenzza, Cath Kidston and Pretty Ballerinas who will be opening in Jubilee Place.”

Combined with the group's 115,000 sq ft retail development above the new Canary Wharf Crossrail Station, Jubilee Place represents one of the largest retail expansions currently underway in the UK.

Previously announced retailers to open in the Jubilee Place extension include Michael Kors, Banana Republic, COS, Orlebar Brown, The White Company, Tiger of Sweden, Monica Vinader, Bare Minerals, Rituals, Oliver Bonas, Schuh, Emmett Shirts, Asics, and Godiva.
